With already 400 registered trailers and a total of 1500 expected, the beach of Wissant should be overcrowded on the 14th of September for the departure of this unusual race. You will be running through the dunes, along the cliffs, on long beaches and finally crossing the green and hilly countryside. Of course, everybody can participate to the trail whether you are an expert or a beginner as there will be 3 distances proposed: 53 km, 31 km, 10 km.
For those who prefer to take their time to appreciate the landscape, 2 hiking trails will also be proposed.

Many other activities will be proposed during this event. The 9 cities and villages which will be crossed by the trail will warmly welcome you with majorettes, orchestras, sound systems and with 2 supply points in Audembert and Audresselles.

In the village of Marquise, which is first of all the arrival and consequently the final goal, a regional produce market will be organised by the Community of La Terre des 2 Caps. Our local producers will make you discover our fantastic gastronomy!
The organisers of the Trail Côte d’Opale are really concerned by the protection of the environment and have invested for example in biodegradable beacons. Strict rules will also be applied during the race to reduce the impact on the environment.
